What is your overall vision for the CATS solution?
Enterprise Incentive Software is one of the pioneers in the Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) space. We had achieved our third generation of EIM solutions while most competitors had only released their first. Many of the announcements made by the venture-funded community about breakthroughs were only self-acknowledgements of issues previously solved in CATS. 

CATS is administrator-centric. The popular soft dollar ROI benefits touted in the EIM space exist simply to justify solutions that are expensive to implement and maintain due to substandard engineering. CATS is unique in its ability to empower the administrator with little or no IT support. When bundled with the CATS Portal there are simply no reporting environments that cannot be created and deployed within the enterprise. 

The combination of CATS with the CATS Portal is designed to ensure best-in-class technologies at the best total cost of ownership.

What is your experience in the industry and with relevant applications?
We have been engaged in the relational database application business since 1990 when we first developed “Telebanking,” an application used by the majority of “virtual banks” throughout the 1990s. This led to our being asked to assist customers with the management of their RFP and RFI activities, resulting in the creation of PMAPS, a proposal management application, and the subsequent assistance with consultant design incentive compensation plans leading to today’s CATS application. 

EIS operates on four simple principles:

  1. EIS products will solve specific problems in the most cost-effective, no-nonsense way for customers. EIS will not seek to load products with unnecessary features or suite components that add cost and maintenance requirements.
  1. EIS products will be provided in a turnkey style – implementation, documentation, training and initial support will be part of a single, simple and fixed price.
  1. EIS products will be continually improved upon by listening to the user community and by taking advantage of advances in operating systems, database tools and the applications in which the programs are integrated.
  1. EIS products will be guaranteed to function as promised.
