CATS database administrators can design and/or implement any type of incentive compensation program for individuals, teams, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, channels and partners. CATS ENGINEERING. A BREED APART.

1. CATS CONTAINS AN EXTENSIBLE BUSINESS-RULE LANGUAGE.
In addition to the CATS application’s full-featured visual design tool and library of incentive compensation business rule objectS, it also provides a powerful business-rule language for creating plan designs that cannot be defined using fill-in forms. This is the underpinning to a guarantee that CATS can implement all plan designs now and in the future (without customizing the source code). All rules and data manipulation are both transparent and available directly to the CATS incentive compensation administrator without the need for any independent IT or vendor support.

2. CATS OFFERS BETTER PROCESSING SPEED.
CATS can optionally use a local processing model that will significantly improve processing speed of complex calculations or algorithms by 2-3x. Competing applications are limited to using Oracle SQL commands or stored procedures.

3. CATS DOES NOT REQUIRE AN IMPORT STEP WHERE DATA IS COPIED FROM EXTERNAL TABLES INTO THE APPLICATION.

4. CATS DOES NOT REQUIRE THAT DATA BE MANIPULATED DURING THE ETL STEP. THE TOOLSET BUILT INTO CATS IS ROBUST ENOUGH TO HANDLE ANY AND ALL DATA CONVERSION AND MANIPULATION REQUIREMENTS.
Competing applications employ ETL tools to move data from the source tables to their intermediate transaction table(s) (data warehouse). The tool(s) they use to do this are not built into their application, but rather a third-party ETL tool requiring separate licensing, support, database administration and dependency on a once removed technology partner for upgrades and support.

5. CATS PERMITS RAPID IMPLEMENTATION.
Everything is integrated into one application (ETL tool, etc). CATS also includes a DBA tool that automatically creates, maintains, upsizes and downsizes all information within the database.

6. CATS PROVIDES AN INTEGRATED UPDATE PACKAGE FUNCTIONALITY.
This again, makes CATS much more efficient. The ability to successfully support CATS users offsite through the use of self-installing update packages, not merely copying files, is a significant differentiator.

7. CATS IS MORE AGILE IN TERMS OF ITS ABILITY TO SUPPORT A DESKTOP ARCHITECTURE.
The same packaged application can run efficiently as an offline desktop application as well as a full-featured enterprise application utilizing a backend database such as Oracle and SQL Server. Competing applications are focused only on enterprise architectures. Running them on a laptop would either be impossible or difficult to set up.
